A two-part Montessori set: a coin box and an object-permanence box with a ball, for first discoveries.
Two of the classic Montessori first toys, together in one set. In the coin box, a baby posts wooden coins through a slot and opens the little drawer to find them again. In the object permanence box, a ball rolls in at the top, vanishes, and reappears in the tray below.
Both teach the same quiet magic: things that go out of sight are not gone. Opening a drawer, chasing a ball, a baby is really discovering object permanence and a bit of their own independence.

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry straight away; no soaking, no dishwasher.
Once a year (or when the wood looks thirsty), rub in a drop of food-safe oil or beeswax balm with a soft cloth.
Wood is a living material: small shifts in grain and tone are part of the toy, not a fault.
